Dear students,

The Student Fee Advisory Committee (SFAC) is currently recruiting undergraduate and graduate students from all backgrounds and degrees to serve on the committee for the remainder of the 2024-25 academic year.

The SFAC is a student-led committee that advises the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor on changes to student services fees, course materials, and other fees on campus. This is an ideal opportunity for students who are interested in learning more about university operations and weighing in on budget proposals that will affect students.

Participation in the SFAC is an important responsibility that consists of weekly meetings and has a $644 quarterly stipend for a two-year commitment. Since this is a mid-year appointment, the appointments will begin upon selection and end after Spring Quarter 2026. Find out more about the committee on the SFAC webpage. If you are interested in having a greater voice in the discussion on how student fees are assessed and allocated, apply to join the SFAC through this application. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

For questions, reach out to SFAC Chair Jun Jang and SFAC Vice Chair Reginald Gardner.

Sincerely,

Jun Jang, SFAC Chair
Reginald T. Gardner, SFAC Vice Chair
