Administrative Units
The Provost plays a primary role in the development and implementation of academic programs; planning for faculty recruitment and retention; day-to-day campus operations, including budget allocations and capital finances; and the conception, design, and implementation of major campus initiatives.
The administrative units below help inform and guide the Provost in these responsibilities.
The Business Transformation Office oversees and coordinates multi-unit projects to modernize processes and improve workflow, often through the development of new enabling technology.
Enrollment Management brings the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, and University Registrar into closer alignment with the academic functions of the campus, in order to more effectively support UCI’s mission and strategic goals.
Finance & Administration
The Division of Finance and Administration continuously focus on maintaining a safe and attractive environment for all; ensuring buildings and other infrastructure perform efficiently and are well maintained; and providing professional services in the areas of accounting, purchasing, risk management, safety and transportation
Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology is responsible for supporting the IT needs of UC Irvine faculty, students, and staff.
Planning & Budget
Planning and Budget provides decision support to campus executive management regarding the most strategic allocation and use of campus resources to meet UC Irvine’s goals and objectives.
Student Affairs
Student Affairs serves to support the University of California’s mission of teaching, research and public service, and to enhance the quality of student life, leadership and character excellence.
University Advancement
Through the efforts of University Advancement, the university is able to share its amazing achievements, build lasting relationships and generate support for important campus programs and initiatives.
