Dear colleagues,
As a follow up to the April 10, 2024, email announcing a possible increase to the academic salary program for ladder rank, non-represented faculty, and policy covered non-faculty academic appointees for 2024-25, I am pleased to confirm that the increase has officially been approved.
- Policy covered non-faculty academic appointees: Salary scales will increase by 4.2% in July 2024.
- Ladder rank and other academic faculty tied to the ladder rank: Salary scales will increase by 4.2% on October 1, 2024.
At UCI, the Provost has made the decision that this increase will also apply to off-scale salaries, resulting in a 4.2% increase to total base salaries.
Excluded from this program are academics appointees who are represented by our various unions as their wages are governed by collective bargaining unit agreements.
