Please register to attend the Latino Excellence and Achievement Awards (LEAD) virtual gala at 5:30 p.m. on April 1, 2021. Chancellor Howard Gillman will provide introductory remarks and Gaddi Vasquez, UCI Foundation Trustee, U.S. Ambassador (Ret.) and Sr. VP of Government Affairs, Edison Int’l & Southern California Edison (Ret.) will be the featured keynote speaker. This event honors key leaders, graduate students, staff, faculty and alumni who support and champion research excellence and academic achievement in the Latinx and Hispanic community at UCI and in Orange County.
