We are writing to update you on the status of remote work at UCI. Many of you have been successfully working remotely and we appreciate your flexibility and excellent work during this time. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to those who have continued to work on campus as needed.
UCI leadership will continue to review the situation and provide updates, recognizing that employees will need time to plan for childcare and other personal obligations. Regarding possible continuation of remote work in the future, campus officials are developing guidelines for those interested in long-term remote or hybrid work, subject to supervisor approval. More information will be shared as guidelines are developed in the coming months.
