Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to share with you another opportunity to build your scholarly productivity through a project offered by Professors Ilona Yim and Nina Bandelj: U See I Write for Advancing Faculty Development. This program expands upon the U See I Write quarterly retreats already offered to include additional resources during monthly meetings. These sessions are supported by funding from the UC Office of the President Advancing Faculty Diversity program.

Professors Yim and Bandelj are now recruiting faculty members to participate in the 2021 inaugural cohort.

What: U See I Write for Advancing Faculty Development

When: First Fridays monthly, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., March 5-June 4, 2021 remote sessions

Remote sessions offer:

  • Short (15 min.) coaching sessions on writing productivity
  • Dedicated writing time
  • Small groups networking

Participants should plan to work on specific writing projects over the duration of the program (e.g., research paper, grant proposal, etc.).
