Global Engagement Event – Black Lives Matter

UCI Office of Global Engagement is hosting a series of webinars this summer and in the coming academic year to address a number of timely international topics.

This week’s webinar will explore Black Lives Matter and the Identity of African-American Students here and abroad. The event is intended as a resource for faculty, staff and students.

9-10 a.m., Thursday, July 9

The event will feature the founder of Diversity Abroad, the founder of Black Study Abroad, as well as two UCI students who studied abroad. The discussion will be moderated by Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Doug Haynes.
