We Need to Hear from You!
Share your experience by April 16
All UCI students, faculty and staff at the main campus and the Medical Center are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences through the UCI Climate Survey. This brief survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and every response is important to us. Respondents who complete the survey by April 16 will be entered into one final drawing for $50 Amazon gift cards.
At UCI, we are committed to building and sustaining a community where all expect equity, support diversity, practice inclusion and honor free speech. This commitment guides each of us to seek to understand and respect the broad spectrum of diversity in our community.
Participants will be asked to share their opinions and experiences about the themes guiding a campus action plan for inclusive excellence - Wellness, Thriving and Community. Everyone is encouraged to provide their suggestions for improving UCI interactions and experiences. As part of the UCI community, we hope that you feel enabled and empowered to:
- Expect an affirmative and supportive environment to work and learn in
- Seek out opportunities to learn about and appreciate our diverse campus
- Promote a richer sense of belonging through listening intentionally to others and building community together
- Honor free speech by being thoughtful about ideas and expecting civil discourse
The UCI Climate Survey results will be publicly posted by the close of year on the www.inclusion.uci.edu website. In addition, results will be used by the Office of Inclusive Excellence in programming, planning and funding for upcoming activities.
