Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to share with you the news that we have named seven incoming faculty as our first seven recipients of the Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Awards. These individuals are recognized for their deep expertise and demonstrated abilities to advance inclusive excellence and they represent diverse disciplines and approaches to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in their scholarship, pedagogy, and service. Their work during the two-year appointment period will culminate in a public forum for UCI and community members to learn more from their research and activities on behalf of our University. Additional details to join us in celebrating and building on the phenomenal capacities supported by these scholars are forthcoming, but please join me in welcoming these exceptional colleagues now.
