UCPath = UC Payroll, Academic Personnel, Timekeeping, and Human Resources

UCI’s implementation of UCPath will begin in December 2019. This regular executive sponsor message aims to keep the campus community informed by providing a project status update and employee action items to help prepare for UCPath.

Project Status Update

Paul Sheirich, UCI UCPath project director, will retire at the end of July. Please join me in wishing him well on his next chapter and thanking him for his dedication to this project over the past seven years. Bob Moulton, an executive consultant who has been working on this project over the last eight months, will assume the role of UCI UCPath project director. Bob has over 40 years of experience leading information technology projects both in the private sector and in higher education. I am confident this project will remain on track as we transition to UCPath in December.

We successfully completed a round of testing and are preparing for another round. Designated representatives from all divisions continue to familiarize themselves with UCPath by practicing transactions and testing processes. We know employees will have questions about their paychecks, benefits, and other UCPath actions when UCPath goes live. Therefore, the project team, Payroll, Benefits, Academic Personnel, Human Resources, and division representatives are working together to ensure employees will have the support they need when we transition.

Employee Action Items

To successfully transition to UCPath, every employee is highly encouraged to complete the action items listed below:

  1. Confirm that you know your UCInetID and password. Go to OIT’s website for help or contact your supervisor.
  2. Sign up for DUO multi-factor authentication.

  4. Verify personal information in AYSO.
