UCPath = UC Payroll, Academic Personnel, Timekeeping, and Human Resources
UCI’s implementation of UCPath will begin in December 2019. This regular executive sponsor message aims to keep the campus community informed by providing a project status update and employee action items to help prepare for UCPath.
Project Status Update
A little over five months from now, UCPath is scheduled to go live at UCI, and I am pleased to report that the project remains on track. We are continuing to review and prepare our data for conversion to UCPath, and the campus and medical center are entering the next phase of testing. During the summer and early fall, designated representatives from all divisions on campus will begin to practice entering transactions and testing processes.
We are fortunate to have learned from those who have deployed before us; the project team is coordinating with UCI Payroll, Benefits, Academic personnel, Human Resources, and division representatives to proactively develop plans for how employees will get answers to questions about their paychecks, benefits, and other UCPath actions. Details will be shared as we approach the first UCPath paycheck in early January.
Employee Action Items
To help ensure a smooth transition to UCPath, we highly encourage every employee to complete the action items listed below:
- Confirm that you know your UCInetID and the password. Go to OIT's website for help or contact your supervisor.
- Sign up for DUO multi-factor authentication.
- Sign up for direct deposit.
- Verify personal information in AYSO.
- Home address
- Phone number
- Personal email
- Dependent information
