The Academic Senate hosted the 2018-2019 Distinguished Faculty Awards, recognizing a number of esteemed faculty members for their remarkable achievements. Since 1976, the Distinguished Faculty Awards have acknowledged UCI faculty for their significant contributions to research, teaching, service, and mentorship.
The faculty members recognized this year were:

- Distinguished Mid-Career Faculty Award for Service
