Search for Founding Dean of the Proposed School of Population Health

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the formation of a search committee charged with assisting us in appointing a founding dean of the proposed School of Population Health. A national search will be conducted to identify outstanding candidates with exemplary administrative and academic leadership experience who are distinguished scholars and capable of leading the school’s academic enterprise. The committee will be chaired by Hal Stern, professor of statistics. Other panel members are:

  • Ulrike Luderer, professor, Department of Medicine
  • Andrej Luptak, associate professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Ellen O’Bryant, assistant chair, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Andrew Odegaard, assistant professor, Department of Epidemiology
  • Donald Saari, professor emeritus, Department of Economics
  • Judith Treas, Chancellor’s Professor, Department of Sociology
  • Lari Wenzel, professor, Department of Medicine
  • Dominik Wodarz, professor, Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology

We have engaged the services of Korn Ferry to assist the committee, which will begin deliberations soon.
