2016-17 Faculty Hiring Programs

Dear colleagues,

In accordance with the campus strategic plan, UCI intends to hire 250 new faculty members in addition to about 250 replacement hires within the next five to seven years. During this academic year, we plan to add approximately 90 faculty members, estimated at 40 replacement positions and 50 new positions. As usual, recruitments will be coordinated through each school or unit.

To help align these new faculty members with our strategic plan, we have developed several targeted hiring initiatives, listed below, with links to web sites that describe details for each program.
